Oh man, i had like eight strips of free bacon today before lunch. It was the best day of free third floor leftovers ever.
(I wonder what the toy inside is?)

Since it's free video and bacon week, here's the greatest youtube video of all time, for anyone who might have missed it. Plus, bacon is mentioned. Bonus!

It is I, monkeytoad. The first person on this blog to use the word monkey in his/her name as far as I can tell. Welcome me! I'm so very excited to join this blog. I am now a blogger. I did it!
This guy (in this drawing) is the best artist in the world and a great friend, so I agreed to draw a drawing of him (for free).
What do guys you think is going to happen on The Sopranos?

Okay, I totally lucked out in that Chen - Yi generously stopped by my cube a couple of hours ago to chat, so I figured I had one more shot of really capturing him with the benefit of actual observation (instead of the usual memory + ancient Timmy photo) - if nothing else, at least his haircut should now be a little more accurate. They're sloppy, lopsided, full of obvious mistakes - on both of these, I was figuring them out as I drew them, but every time I tried "fixing" or improving them, I thought they lost something that felt right. Anyway, you be the judge if I'm getting any closer, or should have quit while I was ahead!

In honor of his imminent departure to bigger and better things, here's my latest foolhardy attempt to capture the ineffable master of marker and cursor himself, along with some of the interesting failures along the way (thought you might find them amusing, offensive, etc.) What do you think? Am I close? Was this the best of the lot? Time to give up, crawl away with my tail between my legs?

I hired a skywriter to write this message so maybe Chen-yi will stay. Unfortunately it was too expensive to do it over Burbank so it was written in the sky over Ludekinbottoms, Louisiana.
Still, it if works, it was worth every penny.

Because Dr. Hong decided to censor a post and take the law into his own hands, he is being punished by pictures of Suri Cruise every day for a week. Here is the first of many to come:
"Hello my name is Suri, and this present is NOT for Dr. Hong."

On the happy day of Friday the 20th, I decided to pay a visit to the Hong household. There I met the newest edition to his family, Chickpea the Pup.
Now I have to have a facial transplant. Thanks Dr. Hong!
